Kid's sale
Looking for great deals on gently used kids clothing and equipment? Do you have some of these items that you’d like to get rid of? If you answered yes to either of these questions, read on to learn about the big consignment events coming to our area! There are three large consignment events happening between the end of February and the middle of March.
- The first of these events is The Posh Whale (formerly Whale of a Sale). This event will take place February 29- March 3 at The Ramada Conference Center located at 5001 Market Street. The sale will include new and gently used name brand and smocked children’s clothing, as well as gently used name brand baby equipment, bedding, furniture, maternity clothing and more! The cost to consign items is $10 and the consignor makes 70% of the price of each item sold. Consignors and volunteers also get to shop the sale first. - Duck-Duck-Goose is Wilmington’s newest consignment event. This event will take place March 8-12 at the University Center Shopping Plaza on South College Road. Items relating to infants – teen and maternity will be on sale. This includes clothing, toys, play yards, accessories, shoes, videos, books, etc. There is a $15 participation fee to consign items and consignors make 70% of the price of each item sold. - The final large consignment event of the season will be the Kids Exchange of Wilmington. This event will be open to the public March 16-18 at the National Guard Armory at 2221 Carolina Beach Road. Items for sale will include gently used children’s clothing, furniture and equipment. Anyone is welcome to sell at this event. The seller’s fee is $5 and the seller makes 75% of the price of each item sold. Sellers and workers get to shop the sale before it is open to the public.
