My daughter and I had the pleasure of attending the opening performance of Disney's The Aristocats by Snow Productions. The cast of the show was made up entirely of children ranging in age from 4 to 18. It is always a joy to see a show that is for kids and performed by kids. This show was no exception.
The show was made up of 15 musical numbers infused into the action and dialog of the story. The songs were peppy and the children did a wonderful job singing. The acting was also excellent with many of the main characters getting big laughs or applause from the audience. The well-thought out scenery and unique costumes added to the professional nature of the show.
The Aristocats runs through the weekend with shows at 11am and 4pm on Saturday, May 17 and a 2:30 show on Sunday, May 18. Tickets are available at Learning Express stores. Adult admission is $8 and kids ages 3-17 is $ 5.
Snow Productions upcoming shows for kids are Peter Pan Jr. in August and Annie Jr. in November. Spaces are still available for actors in both productions.
