Popsicles and summer go hand-in-hand since frozen treats are so refreshing after being out in the heat. This summer staple is easy to make if you have popsicle molds and juice. However, you usually have to wait several hours for popsicles to harden in the freezer.
So, what if you want a fresh frozen treat and don't want to wait? A company called Zoku has developed a product called a Quick Pop Maker that will turn a little juice into a frozen treat in under 10 minutes!
I was a little skeptical when I first read about this product and I wanted to see if the claims were true. To my surprise, the device is quite simple to use and clean. Here are the steps in making a popsicle in under 10 minutes:
- Freeze the base of the Zoku device overnight.
- Remove the base from your freezer and insert the stick.
- Pour cold juice into the mold and watch it instantly begin to freeze.
- In about 7 or eight minutes, remove the frozen popsicle from the mold.
It is just that easy to make popsicles with this product! The Quick Pop Maker I tested makes one pop at a time and you can make about three within a span of about 30 minutes. If you have more than one child or would like to make more popsicles at once, the company makes a dual pop maker that will make 2 at a time and a triple pop maker as well.
Drip guards are also included with the product which is quite helpful for those of us with children.
