Who doesn't love getting a package in the mail? Subscription boxes fulfill the need to have a surprise gift sent to yourself or a loved one every month. They come in many different varieties and include items to sample from a multitude of different companies. This month we will highlight 4 different subscription boxes for parents and children.
Citrus Lane is a subscription box company founded by Mauria Finley, a mother of two. She created the company to help parents discover innovative products and provide an online opportunity for parents to share information.
The subscription boxes include items that are chosen based on your child’s age. The customized boxes are available for newborns through age 3. Each box includes several items for parents to use with their children.
The box that I received as a sample was designed for a three year old child. The theme of the box was back to school and it was sent to subscribers in August. The box contained a Skip Hop Insulated Lunch Bag, an Innobaby food storage container, an Andy Warhol board book, a Plum Organic Tots Yogurt Mish Mash and DP Stain and Odor Removing Spray. The retail value of these products is about $30.
I found the products included to be quality items. In addition to the wonderful products, the box included coupons and discount codes to use to purchase additional products. This is helpful for parents that enjoyed the products in the box and want to buy more.
Citrus Lane offers several different subscription options. A monthly subscription is $25 a month. Six month subscriptions are $125 (giving subscribers one free box). There is also an option to purchase a year subscription for $250 (giving subscribers two free boxes).
