Hasbro
super soaker
Hasbro has some great new toys in its spring line-up. I had the opportunity to check out a Littlest Pet Shop play set and a Nerf Super Soaker.
The Littlest Pet Shop franchise has been a favorite of many, especially young girls, since the early 1990s. Hasbro has been producing this line of toys for about 10 years and has developed many unique pets and play sets. The latest in a long line of play sets is called the "Cozy Condo" series. The one I reviewed is called the Hydrant Hangout. It comes with pets Gail Trent and Princess Stori Jameson, a two story hydrant "condo" with a little slide coming out of the top window and six small accessories. The set is brightly colored, sturdy and seems to inspire creativity in young children. My 5 year old daughter has spent hours playing with the set. The set is designed for children 4 and up and retails for around $15. It is the perfect size to slip into an Easter basket!
The Super Soaker has been a favorite warm weather toy since the early 1990s. It continues to be the top brand for water battles in backyards across the country. This year Hasbro has released the Super Soaker Tri Strike Crossbow. This water blaster will take water battles to a whole new level. A simple pump action allows users to fire for a long range blast from up to 35 feet away. For even more soaking power, there are two deployable blast arms for triple the water streams. This toy is designed for children ages 6 and up and retails for around $25.
