Enchanted Airlie
Since 2005 Airlie Gardens has been entertaining guests with its fabulous light show known as Enchanted Airlie. Each year the displays seem to be more vibrant and beautiful. This year is no exception.
My family and I took a stroll through the gardens and were delighted by the lights and music throughout. A new display called The Enchanted Forest includes many colorful lighted trees and is a wonderful addition to the presentation. My daughter also enjoyed the addition of the winter princesses Anna and Elsa who were on hand to greet children and take pictures with them.
Some of our old favorites were back again this year such as the large swans on the water, the lighted grapevines and the giant "gingerbread" house. Of course, Santa is still on site ready to listen to Christmas wishes of all the young guests.
There are several more opportunities to visit Enchanted Airlie throughout the holiday season. The event will run on the following dates: December 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd. There are two times available each of these evenings. 5pm-7pm is the first viewing and 7pm-9pm is the second.
Tickets are available in the form of carload passes for $27, couples passes for $17 or individual tickets for $12 and can be purchased here. Tickets do tend to sell out on the weekends, so make sure to get your tickets early!
