Enjoy a Wednesday evening in the park with your family learning about nature. Programs are presented by the North Carolina Aquariums and Halyburton Park naturalist. Pre-registration is required for all programs. Call 341-0075 to register. Upcoming Programs Include:
SHARK ATTACK Wed 8/3 6:30 - 7:30 pm Cost: $5/participant
Any closer and you just might get bit! This program brings sharks to life through engaging activities and interactive props. By the end of the program, participants will understand what it takes to be an amazing predator. This program is presented by the N.C. Aquarium.
TURTLE TALES Wed 8/24 6:30 - 7:30 pm Cost: $5/participant
Hear tales and see some tails! Take a look at the lives of land, freshwater and sea turtles. Learn about turtle behavior, feeding habits, anatomy, and threats to survival during this live animal presentation. This program is presented by the N.C. Aquarium.

Come explore the park and learn about animals that hop. We will take a hike to look for "hoppers" and learn about what they eat and how they survive in the park.
