princesses
Princesses await the arrival of Cinderella.
The 4th Annual Tiaras and Treasures event at the Children’s Museum of Wilmington was a truly magical event for all the little princesses and pirates that attended. Upon arrival, all children were warmly announced on the red carpet and greeted by princesses and pirates alike.
Fun Crafts
The crafting room offered the opportunity for pirates to make a fearsome black hat and princesses to decorate their own colorful tiara. Staff and parents helped to make this crafting project fun for all.
Storytime
Snow White, a favorite fairytale princess, was on hand to tell stories to a captive audience. Children enjoyed listening to the tales she had to tell.
Bounce House
The courtyard housed a large pirate bounce house. Princesses hiked up their skirts and pirates took off their hats to enjoy some good times jumping around.
Princess Pampering
The Princess Boutique offered the princesses a chance to get their nails painted in a pretty pink color and get some fancy make-up. They also got a special spray of sparkly fairy dust in their hair.
Terrific Tattoos
The tattoo parlor offered a chance for children to get a pirate tattoo of their choosing on their arm. The fearsome pirates and the pretty princesses alike enjoyed this activity.
Treasure
Treasure abounded at the event. There was a great selection of food and drinks available for kids and adults. There was a treasure map that allowed guests to search for clues and those that found them were given a special prize. All children were rewarded for their attendance as they left with special goody bags full of treats just for special pirates and princesses!
