Oktoberfest Benefits Go to Pretty in Pink Foundation

Wilmington's 11th annual Oktoberfest celebration will be held Friday, October 19 and Saturday, October 20. The festival is a fun celebration of German culture featuring authentic cuisine (including adult beverages) and traditional music by the Harbour Town Fest Band. Additional entertainment includes Weiner Dog Races at 4 pm on Saturday and a kid zone with face painting and inflatables.

Admission to the event is $5 at the gate and proceeds go to the Pretty in Pink Foundation which is a local charity providing support to the underinsured and uninsured people of our community diagnosed with breast cancer.

This year Oktoberfest will be located at the New Hanover County Government Center in the parking lots of Break Time and Ten Pin Alley.

Hours for this event are Friday, October 19 from 5pm until midnight and Saturday, October 20 from 10 AM until midnight.
