Joanna Cole, the author of more than 250 children’s books, will read from The Magic School Bus and the Climate Challenge. She will also sign books. Children’s games and an ice-cream social will also be featured.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Cole to our education center,” said Tracy Skrabal, the federation’s regional manager and coastal scientist. “As both a scientist and parent, I admire her ability to present complex scientific principles in plain language and even make it fun. This event will be a blast.”
The fee for federation members is $10 for individuals or $20 for a whole family. For nonmembers, the fee is $15 for individuals or $25 for a whole family. Children under the age of 6 attend for free.
