Disney on Ice
Disney on Ice Rockin’ Ever After kicked off its five day run in Fayetteville at the Crown Coliseum on Wednesday, December 12. My four year old and I had the privilege of being amongst the crowd to see this first evening performance.
This magical show began at 7PM and was hosted by Disney favorites: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. The show kicked off with two short performances by Pinocchio and Cinderella’s wicked stepsisters Drizella and Anastasia. The first act, featuring characters from the Little Mermaid, followed. Ariel, Sebastian and Flounder were amongst the performers in this short retelling of the story. Acts that followed included characters from Tangled, Brave and Beauty and the Beast. Each act included a creative, abbreviated version of the Disney tale featuring classic music from the movie. The show lasted about 2 hours and kept the audience captivated throughout.
Highlights of the show include amazing skating performances, flashy costumes, upbeat music, pyrotechnics and acrobatics. My daughter was completely enthralled the entire time and I found the show very entertaining as well. I would certainly recommend this show to anyone that has a child interested in ice skating or Disney princesses.
The show will continue to run through Sunday, December 16 at the Crown Coliseum. Tickets range in price from $15 to $60 each.
The Crown Coliseum is conveniently located on highway 87 as you drive into Fayetteville and parking was free and close to the venue.
