Brunswick Little Theater
The Stagestruck Players, the children’s division of Brunswick Little Theatre, announces auditions for its November production of the Fabulous Fable Factory, a musical by Joseph Robinette and Thomas Tierney. The musical follows Monroe as he discovers an abandoned factory. While exploring the building he accidentally trips a lever which activates the factory “machinery”, an assembly line of seven actors that enact fabulous fables. Monroe also meets the factory owner who explains the factory has been idled for 2000 years due to a missing part. Monroe discovers he can replace the missing part and allow the “machinery” to once again create fables.
Youth, ages 10 through 18, are invited to audition. Rehearsals for Stagestruck productions are held on weekends so as not to interfere with school and extracurricular activities. Auditions will consist of a cold reading from the script, learning and performing a movement combination, participation in improvisatory games and demonstration of singing ability. Auditions will be held on Saturday, August 13th, and Sunday, August 14th, 3-5 PM, Building F, Brunswick Community College.
