After Easter Savings

This weekend there will be no coupon inserts in the Sunday newspaper.  If you are looking for great deals on Easter merchandise, check out sales flyers or websites of your favorite stores.  Special pricing after Easter may inspire you to gather some goodies next week!

The Monday after Easter is a great day to stock up on supplies for next year, spring parties or just to have some treats around the house.  Most stores will mark down their Easter themed merchandise down 50-75 percent off the days following Easter. 

  • Grab some supplies for next Easter.  Baskets, decorations and plush toys are among the many items that you can store and use next year.  At a savings of at least half off, you can’t pass up some of these Easter essentials!
  • Buy some party supplies!  If you are planning a spring or summer party, Easter candies make great favors.  A little bag of pastel M&Ms is a great favor to hand out at spring parties.  Other ideas for using candies include cake and cupcake decorations.  Baskets also make great centerpieces for spring entertaining.
  • Keep treats on hand for any occasion.  Most candies won’t expire for several months after the holiday so it’s a good idea to have some of your family’s favorites on hand for trip treats, movie snacks or just a special indulgence every now and again!
