Bloom planner
Many students, teachers and even some parents rely on academic planners to keep their schedules straight and make sure they don't forget any important dates or assignments. Although many people have transitioned to electronic planners, some of us still love the old- fashioned paper planners.
My search for a new academic planner began in August when my old planner was on its last month. I checked out the traditional retail location (Wal-Mart and Target) and also some of the office supply stores, but I was unable to find a "fashionable" planner. So, I began to search the internet for a planner that would express my sense of style but also wouldn't break the bank.
I happened upon Bloom Planners that seemed to be the perfect fit for what I needed and also were reasonably priced at $12.95. I ordered a planner and was really pleased when my it came in the mail.
First of all, I was impressed by what the planner had in it and how it was set up. Upon opening the planner, the first two pages contain a year at a glance and personal information (should you happen to leave your planner at a friend's house or a coffee shop). The next pages include dates of national and religious holidays throughout the year, a place to record goals for the year, a grid to record your class schedule and a place for notes before the actual calendar pages begin.
The calendar pages begin with a monthly plan-ahead spread that shows an entire month allowing users to fill in each day and be able to see the whole month at a glance to determine availability and commitments. These pages are found throughout the calendar for each month and include inspirational quotes from famous women. Beyond the monthly planner page there are weekly planning pages which give you more space to write assignments, appointments, etc.
The dimensions of Bloom planners are 5.25" X 8.25" making them a great size to slide into a backpack or even a purse. The covers are are made from matte film laminate, giving them flexibility while still being very durable. In addition to all these wonderful features, Bloom planners are really cute!
