The Bald Head Island Conservancy is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1983. The BHI Conservancy focuses on barrier island conservation, education, and preservation. We protect and sustain Bald Head Island and similar coastal communities through conservation efforts like our Sea Turtle Protection Program. Our educational programs provide participants with hands-on experiences and knowledge about the value and vulnerability of barrier island environments. Join us as we discover, learn, conserve, and preserve!
