The adult menu has a large variety of selections ranging from soups, salads, sandwiches and burgers to steaks, ribs, chicken, shrimp and pasta dishes. The price range for adult meals is $8.39-$18.19 and the portions are generous. The children’s menu offers 6 choices of main courses with 5 choices for a side items and a drink that range in price from $3.89 to $4.49. For families that frequent T.G.I. Friday’s, they offer a program called Give Me More Stripes in which dollars spent at the restaurant accumulate to allow the guest to earn food rewards. This free program offers guests a free appetizer just for signing up.
Although the wait staff is friendly, the wait for food is a bit long. I dined there with my family on a Tuesday night when there were maybe 5 other families in the entire restaurant and we waited 20 minutes for 2 salads and a kid’s chicken fingers meal. A wait time of 20 minutes is not optimal for families with small children that want to eat NOW!
The restaurant is fully equipped to handle family dining, even including a baby changing station in the restroom. They are open for lunch and dinner Sunday through Thursday from 11 AM to 12 AM and on Friday and Saturday they are open for lunch and dinner from 11 AM – 1 AM.
T.G.I. Fridays seems to be geared more toward an adult clientele (offering a large variety of adult beverages) despite their earnest attempts to appeal to families.
