Many new family movies are arriving in theaters this fall. Here is a brief overview of what to expect in theaters over the next few months.
- Hotel Transylvania will be in theaters on September 28. This animated feature is about a resort for monsters run by Count Dracula. Trouble begins when a human boy discovers the resort and falls in love with the Count’s daughter. This movie is rated PG.
- Frankenweenie will be in theaters October 5. In this animated Tim Burton film, a boy brings his dog back to life after unexpectedly losing him. The boy discovers that bringing things back to life sometimes isn’t what you expect. This movie is rated PG for scary images and elements.
- Wreck-It-Ralph will be in theaters on November 2. This animated film is about a video game villain that wants to be a hero. He embarks on a journey that takes him through many video games in the arcade with surprises along the way. This movie is not yet rated.
- Rise of the Guardians will be in theaters on November 21. This animated movie is based on the William Joyce books The Guardians of Childhood. The story is about an unusual group of heroes (Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, Sandman and Tooth Fairy) who team up to save the world from and evil spirit. This movie is not yet rated.
