Sometimes being a mother can be a bit more challenging than we expected! At times the joys of mothering get lost in the exhaustion, frustration, and isolation that can occur. One of the best ways to cope is to reach out to other mothers and realize that you are not alone.

The Wilmington area has a number of well established moms’ groups that offer you the opportunity to make new friends, establish a support network, and learn ways to better cope with the ups and downs of day-to-day parenting. Whether you are a stay-at-home mom, work outside the home—or a combination of the two—there is a group in town for you.
